Best Trick or Treating Neighborhoods in San Diego for 2024
San Diego goes ALL OUT for Halloween! I posted a question in my stories asking for the best spots for trick-or-treating and you delivered. Here is a map of all the submissions. Please note, that some are houses, some are streets, and some are neighborhoods. Just drive around near where the pin is and you will find it! Have a fun and happy Halloween night with your little ghosts and little ghouls!
Don’t forget that many local businesses also put on trick-or-treating Halloween fun. I have heard of some in the Little Italy businesses downtown, The Village Pacific Highlands Ranch’s Halloween event, and more! I will look out for them and try to update here. Balboa Park also has a haunted trail I have not yet tried with kids, but it would be fun for adults.
If you know of a neighborhood that needs to be on the list, please send me a DM on Instagram and I will add it to the map.
If you’re looking for the best October events for families, I have info on that too! Here are my top choices for family-friendly Halloween events for 2024.
I also have a map for the best Halloween decorations and haunted houses, that’s here! San Diegans go all out on Halloween Spirit and giant Jack Skellington. Most Halloween decor stays up for the whole Halloween season.
The Best Trick or Treat Neighborhoods Were:
- Bressi Ranch in Carlsbad
- Del Sur in Rancho Bernardo
- Del Cerro in La Mesa
- San Elijo Hills in San Marcos
- South Park in Downtown San Diego
- Porch Swing Street in Chula Vista
- Christmas Card Lane in Rancho Penasquitos
- Old Poway area
- Del Mar Heights
- Harmony Grove Village
- Carmel Country Highlands
Allow me to introduce myself…
My name is Camille! I am a San Diego stay-at-home mom who is never ever at home. I share a lot of fun things to do around San Diego including parks, restaurants, LEGOLAND, the zoo etc.
My goal with my Instagram account and blog is to make any mom feel prepared for any outing with her kids so that she doesn’t have to stay home unless she wants to. Getting out with my kids was key for me in overcoming postpartum depression so I try to pay it forward by sharing what we do to help other moms in a similar situation. Read more about my story here.
Thanks so much for reading!
If you find any of this information to be incorrect or need updating, please send me an email to sandiegomamas@gmail.com or a DM on Instagram to @sandiego.mamas . There is a reason I chose to call this San Diego MamaS (plural) not San Diego Mama. It takes our whole mom community (which now includes you!) to make sure I can share the most accurate information for your family.
Sharing this post helps the mom behind you and helps my page grow! Please feel free to share this link with any other mom who might need it!
