Where’s Odi Library Challenge at San Diego Public Library

The Where’s Odi Library Challenge is back for July 2026! Odi the Coyote is hiding somewhere inside all 37 San Diego Public Library locations — how many can you find? How it works: • Pick up your official Where’s Odi passport at any San Diego Public Library location starting July 1st • Visit each of the 37 city library branches and find Odi — a librarian will stamp your passport and give you a unique branch button (supplies limited!) • Turn in your completed passport at any SDPL location or the Library Shop by July 31st to be entered in the grand prize raffle Tips for success: • Only San Diego CITY libraries participate — county libraries (Poway, 4S Ranch, Bonita-Sunnyside, etc.) are not part of this challenge • Start early in July — some branches run out of buttons by mid-month • Group libraries geographically to make it manageable (see the San Diego Mamas guide for a full 7-day schedule!) • Call ahead to confirm hours and button availability before you drive out • Let kids check out books at every branch to keep motivation high • Check each library’s event calendar — many branches have special summer programming during July All ages welcome.
