Fantasy Fright and Dino Maze at Carlsbad Strawberry Farms
Carlsbad Strawberry Company has extended its pumpkin season past Halloween, and both walk-through attractions are still running through November 8. Fantasy Fright is a dark fantasy maze with 12 themed worlds, legendary creatures and magical relics. The Dino Maze, which the farm calls Jurassic Fright, is a trail cut into the cornfield lined with towering animatronic dinosaurs across 11 themed zones. General admission also covers the pumpkin patch, the marigold and celosia flower fields, a tricycle racetrack, hippity hops, the block yard, the hay pyramid, free games and photo ops.

- Hours: Sunday to Wednesday 9:00am to 6:00pm, Thursday 9:00am to 8:00pm, Friday and Saturday 9:00am to 10:00pm. Ticket sales end 30 minutes before close.

- Cost: General admission $20 Monday to Thursday, $25 Friday to Sunday. Fantasy Fright is a $10 add-on, the Dino Maze is $8, or get both in the Fright Bundle for $15 plus admission.
- Ages: By day, Fantasy Fright runs as The Path to Light, a fantasy adventure for all ages, and the Dino Maze plays as family fun. On select Friday and Saturday nights Fantasy Fright becomes Symphony in the Shadows, with dramatic lighting and live actors, which the farm says is best for older children, teens and adults. The dino trail also gets scarier after dark.
