6th Annual Pumpkin Drive: Donate Your Leftover Pumpkins
Do not toss your Halloween pumpkins. Temecula Mama and Sale Ranch Animal Sanctuary are collecting leftover pumpkins November 1 through 3 and turning them into food and enrichment for rescued farm animals across Southern California. Last year the drive brought in more than 5,000 pounds. Two of the five drop-off spots are in San Diego County, in Oceanside and Escondido. Pumpkins must be uncarved and unpainted, with no candles, glitter, paint or decorations.
